Field study published by DNP student Meghan Sarna of SVSU on the benefits of The Journey Program’s rural outreach exercise program during breast cancer recovery

Meghan’s field study, Rural Breast Cancer Patients’ Experience with a Planned Exercise Program, looked at voluntary participants in The Journey Program that have dealt with a breast cancer diagnosis. We at The Journey Program have always known that exercise after a diagnosis has a significant impact on the patient’s physical and mental wellbeing. We are very encouraged and excited by the findings of Meghan’s study as it validated these benefits in which we have long believed.
